Formal Weekend in New Orleans

Sneakers

This weekend was SO fun! Me and my boyfriend went to New Orleans for his fraternity formal and had an absolute blast. We were only there for a few days but we definitely made the most of it.

 We had been the year before but its such a fun town to explore. We found tons of little shops and had a blast walking up and down Bourbon Street. I wore a fun fuschia romper the first night with some comfortable black heels. If you go make sure to wear shoes with a chunky heel (the streets are brutal).

The next day we went to Monty's on the Square for brunch and it was exactly what we were looking for. It was a short walk from our hotel and they were able to accommodate our large party. I started out the day it fun navy booties and quickly decided that sneakers were going to be the way to go for the rest of the day.

That night we went to our formal event and ate dinner at Irene's. The food was absolutely delicious and a really great atmosphere. 

Nola is the perfect place for a long weekend with friends, even if drive seems like forever :)
